It should be a problem with DNS. Somehow at times, I have seen that
network manager does not commit the changes made. I would suggest you
manually verify if the settings are correct.

1. To check DNS, do, "$ cat /etc/resolv.conf"
2. To check routing information (gateway), "$ route -n"
3. To check for IP address & subnet, "$ ifconfig eth0"

If you are still not able to find why it isn't working, copy-paste
this information on this thread.
