I have usually experienced higher sensitivity on Knoppix/Linux but have never tried to fix it. Instead, I ended up getting used to the new sensitivity. For my synaptic touchpad, I think there was some setting in xorg.conf. I would suggest you check sample xorg.conf files for your particular mouse driver. > ii). After installing knoppix, print screen switch is not working in windows > OS Unfortunately, installing knoppix cannot affect working of Windows (like the way you said it). And yes, it's a popular myth that installing GNU/Linux improves stability and performance of Windows :) > iii).I want to have login window in knoppix and also my lockscreen is also > not working What do you mean by login window in knoppix? Don't you have a graphical login prompt right now (like kdm -- that's what knoppix uses, I think)? To allow for lock screen, you need to start xscreensaver (do it from a terminal or menu).
