Mr. Sharad,

I find your arguments again not on the main line.
Now I am closing my conversation with you in order to same mine as
well your time. On a personal note (not as EDC president), you are a
waste of time.
This mail is just an informatory for the people of this group.

>From my side, this conversation is closed, I just had to convey my
message that I did.

If you think I am going on a tangent, read this (the first post is
more than an year old, this topic has been brought up many times
before off the mailing list; of course, you wouldn't even know what I
am talking about 'cause you probably aren't on the list. You just saw
what your buddy showed you and in fact, you probably don't know much
about me either -- guess who's being a hypocrite now?) --

Yes, my motive was negative, and I am not shying away from that.

No. I just saw the main page. What did you expect, I'll read
everything written on your website?

Good for you. Why are you telling me that? Wasn't it clear before that
I don't care what your group does? I've trimmed the history you
pasted, I'll trim everything below which is of same nature.

"@Sharad : I am sure you find the idea of funding and guiding new
ventures funny!!!"

This was the reply from our mutual to explain what the group does, I
am guessing. I didn't really imagine you would be funding people. I
know TBIU does something like that (may be if not exactly in terms of
money).

Stop spamming. How come you have completely shifted from what really
started this? Why was the list spammed?

As an IIT alumnus whose feedback you value, I would suggest you should
find better avenues of advertising your events than randomly (yes, and
that's what it was) emailing lists which have your members. I find
that many groups did put up posters around the campus -- I personally
didn't like it when they did it on walls (it made our institute look
like any of other govt. colleges). Use bulletin boards of hostels,
departments (I am sure you would know better how to target your ads).
Use coloured paper to attract attention. Be crisp and precise. Always
sign the poster (as in, it should have a reply to contact info). More
importantly, also remove your posters when the event is over. -- I
guess this is all common sense yet many seem to lack it, wouldn't you
agree? BTW, I will also add that I have even seen posters of LUG
meetings (when I was in IIT) on walls, especially one next to the ATM
machine and I had strongly protested that.

Good luck with your event and pray for us both that we may never
exchange emails again :) We are both strongly opinionated people and
we are wasting each other's time.
