Hey Nipun, List,

To add to what Narendra and Mayur very rightly said to your question about
debugging tools--- basically it's more about people being willing to spend
huge amounts of time and energy to smoothen out a free product-- than about
debuggers and compilers.

Ultimately it just basically comes down to your fighting spirit and
motivatedness to takeon the challenge--- of digging into lakhs of lines of
code-- to find the few hundred relevant lines of code to change--- to make
OpenOffice or GIMP or a free audio/video editing tool work more smoothly.

Me and my company, having been into product development work-- do this for a
living-- though not often on linux.

Ultimately-- it's my opinion, based on experience-- that more than
converting or educating newbies-- our ability and willingness to think in
terms of products- will play a big role in fostering growth of free
software.

Regards,

NS
