S40 is not SYmbian-- S40 is nokia's proprietary closed-source; non-open
platform, which only allows java midlets to run.

Also, majority of Nokia's phones are S40; eg: Nokia 6300 ; Nokia 6233, many
others...;
and Symbian-S60 is the minority for higher end phones.
