Boot using ubuntu 9.10 live cd. Then do the steps as suggested in the following link. http://sparkingguy.wordpress.com/2009/12/29/reinstalling-grub-2-from-livecd/ After completed the above process, shutdown and reboot your system ( remove live cd now ) Now you cannot see the windows in grub loader. cool . $ sudo update-grub2 Type the above command, and reboot your system.
