That would give you the answer. You are asking a question but don't understand that the answer we are offering is correct. For OS development, you follow the resources given to you. SchoolOS has collected an existing OS (Linux) and packaged it together to make a distribution. What you DO want to ask is how to put together a distribution and NOT an OS.
