Every modem has an IP and one can setup automatic dialing of PPPoE connection by hardcoding the user-id and password. The general IP for a ADSL modem or router is 192.168.1.1 . However, this need not be same for all routers. The IP to access the router/modem configuration will be given in the manual. So, just type-in the IP in your browser and this allows you to configure the modem for automatic dialing.
