its a lan wire coming from a cable operator. so no idea of the device
used here. i just create windows dialer as i mentioned below, feed in
the user name and password. and then i surf..

current way using /creating broad connection on windows is
to use  in windows i go to network connection--> create new conection--
>connect to internet-->set up my connection manually-->connect using
broad band connnection that required name and password.

when the dialer is created i go to properties of dialer then
networking -->internet protocol (Tcp/ip)--> obtain an IP address
automatically.
