I posted after trying it many times .. on different servers
the addresses like ftp.uk.debian.org open up on the other laptop but the one
on which i am installing says
"Bad archive mirror" The specified Debian archive mirror is either not
available, or does not have a valid Release file on it. Please try a
different mirror.
