I tried the think on fedora in one of the labs in college ... it worked
fedora has a different kernel for booting off pxe .. there is a directory in
the disk called images/pxeboot which contains vmlinuz and initrd.img
there is no such directory in debian
If I use the kernel and image for netboot it tries to download files from
the Internet and if the kernel and image files from the DVD are used .. the
system tries to locate a DVD in the drive.

I also found out of a gentleman who works as a lab assistant in my college
that I will have to map the two network cards eth0 and wlan0 in order to let
the installer download files from the Internet ... am gonna try and do that
now ... will update with my progress.
