why worry about average users? Assuming for the purpose of argument that there is such a thing as an average user. The average user is like the 'common man'. Now the strange thing about the 'common man' is that all those people who bleed in anguish about the plight, the wishes and the desires of the 'common man' do not consider themselves 'common men'. And so with the average user. Do you, or the others in this thread busy spreading FUD about the average user consider yourselves average users? I have serious doubts about it. I personally do not consider myself an 'average user', mainly because I have been liberated from the mundane monotony of being an average user by the power of Foss. So instead of pontificating from your pulpits, I suggest you join in the endeavour of liberating those who are forced into the mindless drudgery and conformity enforced by the constraints under which the 'average user' is forced to exist. -- regards Kenneth Gonsalves -- Mailing list guidelines and other related articles: http://lug-iitd.org/Footer
