I always speak on the basis of the topic and not the person. Most of our debates on facebook were about the Swadeshi issue. On twitter i have sent you only single tweet (yesterday) and that was regarding the post you shared which pictured baba ramdev as hero and anna hazare as zero. I just don't understand why are you mixing the issues here. Even on facebook i had told you that i've no personal grudge against you and was only talking against your views on swadeshi issue. But you made the social debate into enmity. If i had been your enemy, i would have already blocked you on facebook, but i din't even when you asked because there are two different Narendra Sisodiyas - one the open source promoter (whom i had befriended) and the swadeshi promoter. > > but I will you about a small story !! > > There was a village , it that one person named - Bhola - Bhola one day > said said - "we must speak truth", most of the villager start > targeting him and start asking private questions and start beating him > because he was not behaving like "HarishChndra and Yudhithir". > > One day he said, -- "Lala of this village is bad and he own 60% of > village and we must avoid him".. since than all villager start abusing > him because they said - we will be death if we do not work for Lala > and you are basically opposing us, all the guy use to beat him > whenever he try to pass from street which is near to Lala's home. > > So Fundamental concept is -- You you suggest good thing than there > will be a crowd who will "ask" you to become a Fanatic and aspect > Fanatic behavior. There is a > unsubscribe button too. I think you missed something. You forgot how i joined this group. I had started an Open Source internet cafe at my home town. I think i started it only because i loved open source. Though we have shut it down a couple of months back because we were not getting enough customers as home broadband is gaining momentum, i tried my best for these 2 years to keep it running. I still can't find any line in my messages where i'm strictly supporting MS. You din't even read the messages properly and just labelled me as MS supporter. I said the same thing again and again - both have their own pros and cons. BTW, Did you even read my examples? Coming to your story dear friend, here its me who is being targeted and not you! I'm the one who is providing different views about linux, much different than all of you. But i'm not having these views just because of my personal thoughts, but because of real experience. I noticed the people coming to the internet cafe. I noticed the people who took linux based os cds from me. Most of them din't have internet and fixing problems or installing new softwares into their computer became a big problem for them. They had shifted to linux os because of the good things i told them, but shifted back later because of the same reason - They use computer for doing some work/play. And what they want is that their computer should do that well, whether the software is paid or free. They have other important things to do and can't waste time on finding solutions on forums. PS - I had told you on Facebook on the swadeshi issue that i don't follow things blindly, but instead make my own reviews before decidinng anything. I use the same rule on the open source issue too. PPS - I SUPPORT OPEN SOURCE. I HATE MS. And i've still not decided my views on APPLE. Regards, Gautam Chaudhary -- Mailing list guidelines and other related articles: http://lug-iitd.org/Footer
