Hi all,
Sorry for late reply. I got busy with majors and ppts. I noticed today that
the proxy doesn't logs out but the Internet keep going on and off. It
remains on for 10 seconds, then goes off for 30-40 seconds and like that.
I tried to ping my public IP (10.189.52.45) but got nothing back. However
when I pinged 10.136.1.1 (Hostel Gateway), it behaved just like the
browser. About 30-40% packets were lost each time. I have already unchecked
"Require IPv4 for this connection to complete" box.
And where can I find my ifcfg-eth0? I read somewhere that ubuntu doesn't
use these type of files.
Also how can configure proxy settings for terminal? I have been trying to
do this for very long time and have tried every method available. I was
able to do it for individual commands like wget, git but not for all the
commands. Like I can't ping any website when I am connected to internet.
Thanks and Regards
