That is not strange at all. Android is a consumption OS. One could browse,
consume content. Although lightly, most people produce "work" on laptops.
Android is hardly built for that. The apps are non existent, cloud and word
excel like apps do not mate well if one does heavy word processing or excel
sheets.

On primary topic of discussion, driver support in linux is quite good
sometimes better than Windows. Take for instance my primary computer is
Vaio Laptop with Fusion E-450 chip. It has been flawless. Only had to
install ATI drivers manually. Which is not the case with current version of
OS.

Major problem tends to be with ACPI stuff. Try re-installing Windows by
yourself and get that stuff right. I am sure you will not.
