As I was coming home today from my trip out west I saw something that I
had also seen last year but still haven't identified. Just south of the St.
Louis line as it crosses Clay County Road 200E there is a private road going
to the east. The end of the road has "no trespassing" signs so I didn't go
back but about half a mile east of road 200E is what appears from a distance
to be a switch tower. SPV's rail atlas doesn't show any spur at this point.
Can someone please tell me what this thing is?
