I currently have v0.8.14 RC2 installed on my web host, and have always been pretty happy with IlohaMail. I liked that it felt smaller and faster (plus it was more minimalist) that things like squirrelmail and horde, etc. Anyway, I've been using it for probably a couple of years now, and it seems like development has pretty much become stagnant. I was excited for the progress of
v0.9, but that seems to have fallen off the map now. So what's going on? Is anyone still even working on it?
Possibly related, my web host recently upgraded their IMAP server, and now all of the dates in the directory listing in ilohamail are set to that datetime when they made the change. If I pull up the email, it shows the correct date, and the header time is right, and what I gather from the mailing list is that it does/used to use file dates instead of the header date for the time listing. Is this something that I can change in my install, or do I need to upgrade? If that's the case, what do I need to upgrade to? Is the next RC better, or can I go to the .9 dev install? Is that even advised if it's still being developed?
Thanks for listening to me...I'm not really sure what I want to do. I've always been happy with IM, but it just doesn't seem to be going anywhere in this age of "gmail" web clients. I've been following the roundcube development, but that still seems pretty far away from being able to use it in production. Thanks, and hope to hear from whomever is out there!
