Hi Martin, I tried it with KMail right now. "Umlaute" and ampersands aren't problems at all. Here I'am using courier-imap, too. I changed the name from Thrash to Mülleimer, because actually not all imap-clients are able to map it to the correct german meaning. Directorynames with spaces and amps in it even don't have the behaviour you described. Probably "Aussicht Schnell" is not able to create dirnames as required for imap. If you look at your filesystem, where courier actually stores the data (e.g. /home/martin/Mail), the name for "Mülleimer" should look like "M&APw-lleimer" and "Test & bla" like "Test &- bla". You may create a dir with exactly the same name as "Test & bla" and compare it with "Test &- bla". If this fails, probably Outlook is your enemy.
