Hi all,
A friend of mine has got the RedHat 6.0 CD (CHIP mag) and we installed
it in his machine. Everything went fine, RH 6.0 even has driver for the
Sis card 6215 that he has but the display is always too big. We tried
with 1024x768 and even higher resolutions yet the display remains too
big. We ran Xconfigurator and selected the necessary options but again
it remained as it is. We rebooted and there was no change.
Is there any solution to this? Also, the login prompt goes directly into
Xwindows (Gnome in this case) is there any timeouts involved.
