Lack of drivers is known problem with BeOS, unless we stick to the list of
supported cards...most of the common VGA (cheap) cards in the market are
simply not up to it. But I guess that as of now, in terms of multimedia
handling, a properly configured Be workstation would simply beat the pants
off a similarly configed Linux workstation.

The demo version on I.T magazine can only be run by booting off the CD.
Does
not recognize most of the VGA cards. I could only run it in the grayscale
mode. It does not recognize your hdd. So needs helluva lot of RAM to try
out
most of the things. You could make a config diskette on a floppy to persist
the settings.
