I agree with and support Indra. We should be criticising the wares
coming out of the mills of Microsoft and its policymakers for their
policies, not for their past time womanising habits. It is a well
known fact that Microsoft has done an excellent job in marketing and
it has become a case study within the courses of the most reputable
business schools in the world. However, what outrages most sensible
people, and as Indra put it, is the way adopted by M$ to amass the
market cap that it has today. It will really tickle you, but may be
this time not the farcical lobes, to realise that M$ has been able
to turn around and see its billions in technologies which companies
of equal stature had brushed off as "just yet another innovation" and
mentioned in the passing. Iconic computing from Xerox, PDA from the
chinese brothers who eventually joined Apple, optical mice from Sun,
etc etc., need we be reminded more ?

Thus, while it is iconoclastic and "cool" to ridicule just about
anything related to M$, we will be doing a great disservice to the
Linux community and the public at large if we start to bang away
Billy boy for what he does when his pants are off rather than the
policies he masterminds.
