Hi all, I had big problem while working from KDE. The system hung while I was browsing in Netscape 4.08. Netscape hung once before but I did kill and removed lock file and it was ok. <history> Today, KDE hung and then nothing would work so I had to reboot after sometime, during which the fsck.ext2 -a command was running and forced checks on every /dev/hda. I logged in and went into Linux. When I gave startx I got no response and the machine hung. So next time I rebooted, the system chowed clean on all the /dev/hda that it checked last time but showed "Warning... fsck.ext2 exited with signal 11" at /dev/hda12 and /dev/hda8 and then got stuck at /dev/hda10 and then no response. I shutdown and started after some time. Same thing happened this time /dev/hda12 which comes before /dev/hda10 got stuck. After this, I again started the machine with "rescue" at LILO and got "CRC error" same with normal boot. Now, I can't get into Linux. I have the booting done from floppy and not from /dev/hda1 (C:). </history> Can anyone help? Thanks in advance. Arup Bhanja, Calcutta,INDIA.
