Hi Raja,
Thanks for your wishes. I find it heartening to note that you want to contribute to
the User Group and the Linux
Movement in our region. But before I may suggest you anything about how to go about
that, please mail me (preferably in
private), telling something about yourself and what you do with Linux at present
--basically your areas of interest and
level of comfort with relation to them. Any contribution from the members are always
highly welcome.
Yes, you are a member of the LUG. Our membership rules are simple...you either attend
the meetings that we have every
month or you subscribe to the list. Our meetings take place on the first Sunday of
every month at St. Xaviers College,
the details are posted on the list a fwe days before that....however, meetings may
also be convened out of turn to
handle any situation that may require our immediate attention.....so keep watching the
list to keep yourself updated
about what the group is up to.
Cheers,
--Indra

Namshkar,
Sorry Indrada, to learn about your flu. Gather up courage, you are a
Penguin and that too an esteemed one in our club ( no flattering meant
). Penguins flip their flippers in Antartic and a bit of flu can't
cower them. Its good to know from you that the Linux community in WB is
growing. Can you suggest how I can contribute to this club ? Am I
already a member of this club by subscribing to the mailing list ? Also
please do let me know how and where the penguins meet and discuss
things .....
Hoping that you will answer all the queries I have.
-- three cheers for LINUX,
Raja.
