Yes, I know that you all hate me for doing this every month. But here I go
again...."why many of the ILUG-Cal members
are not yet listed on the Linux-Counter, under Calcutta????" ILUG-Cal really started
to take shape after Darshan
spammed the users listed under Calcutta, saying "Hey, what do you all say about
forming a Calcutta LUG?"
For those who came in late -- The Linux Counter is a non-profit effort to provide a
register for Linux users and user
groups around the world. It was being run by Harald Alvestrand of Norway, but is now
managed to a global team of
volunteers headed by Harald. An Indian from India is in that team as well -- Ghane
a.k.a Sanjeev Gupta. Please keep in
mind that your decision to register or not, has a direct bearing to India's ranking on
the Linux Counter.
