I don't want to start a war here folks but I feel that the "visual " concept
is a good and necessary one and that linux would benefit from a better
program IDE. command line is fast but it always has a steep learning curve.
I haven't looked into this yet but I'm sure there are some IDE around for
linux ( comments anyone ?). Though I bet theres no drag and drop form
designer for X yet :). Point I am trying to make is -"give the devil his
due". Much of linux usefulness comes from the way it integrates smoothly
with windows. I'm sure Indra wasn't trying to be harsh , but I guess we
have a responsibility to uphold as linux ambassadors ...and one way of doing
that is by cheerfully accepting all corrections.

A few more points on other subjects.
Enlightenment was from the cd but it's working ok at present. The thing with
the pager is more an irritation than a bug.Basically I want to know if there
is a one step method of bringing a window to the top of the stack,
preferable using only the mouse ,under enlightenment. like in fvwm95 or
windoze you can click the taskbar button ...

I managed to get xfstt running. strangely it was there by default for 5.2
distributed by pc quest but not there for 6.0 by chip...
are there any more problems with the chip version ?

Cheerio
