We have tried Linux installing on 4.3 GB / 6 GB /8.4 GB HDDs
respectively...even with Linux as the only installed OS.... there has
been no problems.
However, I do recall reading somewhere that LILO may fail if your /root
partition is very large. What I don't know is "how large" is "very
large"...as I usually create a 200 - 250 MB /root partition in all
installations.
