I personally CopyLEFT all my works, which is a specific form of
Copyright (CopyLeft uses the same laws as Copyright). What you may have
not done is put the details of your Copyright online. You may want to
make a document somewhere such as indranil-copyright.html where you
outline the details of your copyright.
The 'default interpretation' of copyright is one that is in many ways
incompatable with the web (You can't copy without permission, but
viewing on a web browser involves a copy being loaded on the machine the
browser runs on), and I can fully understand someone taking exception
with it without your clarification.
