Please elaborate on what you mean by "all my efforts"....what all have you tried out
till now??? I need to know what
all have failed before I can suggest what may work...
One word of caution --> if you are trying to install W98 in a machine which already
has Linux installed there is a
chance of W98 removing the Linux partition without your consent.... have seen that
happening a number of times
(although I don't know how it is like with Windows 98 SE).

When you are putting a query on to a list, it is not exactly considered polite if you
put the question to one
particular person -- as then the purpose of list where all can contribute to build a
common knowledgebase is lost. In
our case, there are other people on this list IMO, who are lot more technically
capable than I am, and they do answer a
lot of the queries. And anyway there is no particular reason to single me out for the
question in this particular
instance (had it been so it would have been okay). Please try to keep this in mind
when you are posting your questions.
