Dear folks, Sorry for this absolutely off-topic post from me. Well, I am hearing the bells... not the benign ones of Santa's sledge, but it is the old familiar bells-in-my-ears-after-getting-my-phone-bill type. ;-) Well, the point is even two days after I recieved the bill, whenever I try the 1503 number (the IVR billing info service in bengali), it still says that I have no bills left unpaid...whereas the last date of payment of my current bill is 3rd Jan, 2000. I tried 1503 with the numbers of all the folks I few have recieved their telco bill during the last few days...same result.."No Dues"... My guess... it a Y2K bug in the system... what say folks?? To PC/Saptak: Hey isn't NN-da (N.N. Bannerjee) the GM, Cust Relations of Calcutta telephones (I think)... can we mail him abt this??
