Dear members,
A posting was made on our list yesterday by one of our members. The member
in question apparently thought that his behaviour was becoming to this
list.
Although I had been fairly displeased at the irresponsible, unbecoming &
juvenile behaviour, I had tried to exercise patience. A few of you
have even questioned my silence.
I had refrained from taking any action as I had felt that since ILUG-Cal
is a not a moderated mailing list, in the strictest sense of the word,
objections to such behaviour should come from the members as well.
Well, in the last 24 hours, several members have personally made their
displeasure known to me about the unacceptable behaviour of the member
concerned.
Based on the feedback I am currently considering restricting the posting
rights of the member in question.
Feedback from all members solicited regarding acceptable behaviour on this
list.
