hey inigo,
i had some problem with the caltiger account as well. In fact the
same one ppp auth failed and a disconnect. I phoned caltiger and got a
friendly rep. First advice they gave me was to not bother with the login
prompt et all and just hit the done/continue/ok button. They tole me i
would get another dlgbox which would ask for a login and a password, well
that did seem really new + impossible to me and when i tried it , it never
happened it just disconnected me plain and simple.
So back to the phone with caltiger and the same tech rep fortunately, this
time after a few minutes of waiting he informs I dont have a paid a/c at
all ! Did want to shoot him over the phone line there, but did the verbal
effect of the same.. Seemed to work pretty well he said he would change
some stuff on the server and my account would work in a few mintes which
sure as hell it did !
So here i am happy to surf the net on the caltiger ac//
PS I really wouldnt have bothered with caltiger ac all that much but for
some reason i find that i get a lot better internet-phone connections when
using services like dialpad or net2phone .. That same for you or anyone
have any experience with that on the list ?
