The reason Indrajit is probably able to use his "free" Caltiger account and not you
possibly hinges on a separate
issue.... AFAICT, presently Caltiger is carrying a payload of real users (and in *nix
and NT) who are being
authenticated the usual way and vitual users who are authenticated using an LDAP
server... in fact Shanker and myself
have both stumbled on the fact that login to the "free" accounts without having the
adbar s/w installed was possible
from W9x, NT and Linux even before the service was officially inaugerated (we were
using the accounts we created when
we found that Caltiger folks were bringing the servers online for testing from time to
time)... and we are still able
to use those accounts but another account I created some time after that do not allow
us in unless I am in
Win(something) and have adbar installed....
makes me wonder what kind of a setup the folks at Caltiger did??? Inigo.... why don't
you ask Abhimukta about it???
