both GVC & D-Link r good modems but for indian line conditions (both
electric & phone) GVC gives problems. I have seen a lot of them conk out. I
myself started with GVC.

it conked out and the vendor replaced it with D-Link. same seen at 2-3
places (friends). downloads r equally good. have used both.

ciao
alok
