Hi
I have found that unability of detection of printer ports /dev/lp* is
common in RH 6.1. However, in RH 6.2 I have found that there is no such
problem, except in cases whether there is printer in LPT2 or else.
Even, RH 6.2 allows configuring color printing of deskjet 810C through
600 series printers. 700 and other printers would cause some errotic
printing. deskjet plus printer causes normal default b/w printing.
