Looks like my first contribution to the list got some colourful
replies...Indranil (if i may call u by your first name) A big thank ya to ya
..for now i can drift off into my daily naps without the overbearing thought

single mail ... dunno what was the purpose behind that .. but 5 times

Hmmm .. now for the actual query .. please do remember that i am a newbie at
Linux .. so if the lingo is a lill heavy .. i might think Latin is Greek
(dunno either of 'em,though).. or the other way around...
My modem happens to be a Dlink 56 kpbs .. and ..yeah ..good guess..Red Hat
6.2 seems to be looking the other way around when the modem and me alike are
frantically waving their hands trying to get its(Mr. Red Hat) attention
...Dlink is such a popular make on the modem market ... i wonder if its
really not supported ... please do post ur replies .. cause its kinda
frustating to have Linux running without the joyous connectivity of the
Internet ...
