Dlink modems are usually supported out of the box.... post more details... like exact
make/model of the modem, your ISP,
the settings you are using to dialup, the errors/messages when it is failing et al. if
we are to help you...

hey folks, guess I bombarded the list with multiple copies of Arup's posting.... Arup
had written in from an
unsubscribed addy.... and either I made some stupid error while clearing the bounced
mail or there has been some problem
with the Majordomo list config file that requires attention....
BTW, can someone put up an IRC server for ILUG-Cal? Methinks it could be a good idea
to have our meetings virtually over
IRC... what say folks?
