If there was ever a programming language built for text manipulation it is
perl./ Give it a shot.
Pretty simple to get addicted to as well !
Though if you are talkin 600 megs , that would definitely cause a shot of
pain for any language !
Anyhow my 2 cents say open the file in a text editor and take a look at the
file format and see what you can do with it.
