Hi, The timings for tomorrow's meet on Extreme Programming at Jadavpur University have been changed. We will be starting at 10 a.m and not 10:30. The venue, etc remain unchanged. We regret the inconvenience caused by this last minute change, but it was made absolutely necessary by the incorporation of some newer ideas which should make the presentations even more interesting and interactive. A lot of you might be coming to Jadavpur University for the first time - so here are the directions you might need to get to Amitave De Memorial Seminar Hall. Directions : If you are coming from Gariahat, then you would need to skip the first bus stop in front of JU, and go on to the next one. Right next to the second bus stop, you will see an entrance. Once you enter, go on till a cross section comes up, and you will find a fairly long road to the right, which has a huge field again where football or cricket is usually played. Go all the way toward the end, and you will cross the Regional Computer Center. The immediate next building is the Project Impact Building. You can take the lift to the 4th floor However, there might be a small logistical problem - tomorrow being a Saturday, you might find the gates to the Project Impact Bldg closed when you arrive at 9:45 - don't panic, because there are two other routes ! 1) Go to the Regional Computer Center (see Somik's map) - take the staircase you see on entering the RCC and follow that to the fourth floor - this is the easier option. 2) Should (1) not be possible, turn right from the Project Impact Building, walk for half a minute and enter the Civil Engg/Computer Science Building. Go up to the second floor - having hit the second floor, take the connector to the Project Impact Building. If you're in trouble you can always ask someone in the departmental office (2nd floor)..
