since you seem to have cheap access to broadband, let me make a request to
you. there are many linux programmes, in addition to distro-s, which are so
large that we who are mostly on dialup cannot think of downloading them. for
example, there's kde 2.2, the upcoming gnome 2.0, nautilus, the latest stable
releases of gcc and X, and many, many more. most of us usually have no choice
but to wait till pcq or some other source provides us with slightly outdated
versions of these things.
now, if it's all the same to you, could you download-burn-send these things,
too?
if this is asking too much please say so without hesitating, and i'll shut up
immediately. but if you can do this without a lot of extra trouble, perhaps
we could draw up a wishlist.
what do you say, luggers?
