Dear Luggers, Trying to be smart,I made a fool of myself.Yeah,that's all I can say. Indra was extremely kind and superbly efficient to load Mandrake(version 8.0) in my computer after removing RH 7.2.And believe me you all it was simply superb with Evolution as an e-mail client etc and I did a lot of e-mailing and surfing with this version of LINUX OS(Mandrake). Being a novice,non techie,only a hobbyist computer user I was stuck with K-mail out going problems and requested a friend to come over to look into the problem of K-Mail out going.Though he was very kind to come over and try to set it right it did not work.Under his advise I re-loaded RH 7.2 which I had before the kind assistance of Indra with Mandrake and Evolution.Now the same problem of outgoing mails through K-Mail in RH 7.2 remains as no out going mails are going. Would any of you,dear luggers,help me to re-load Mandrake(now a newer version 8.1) in my computer and put me back in the rails again with LINUX as I refuse to work with any version of WINDOWS OS,which I did for over many years both in my office and home,which I found wanting in many aspects.
