>From what I've heard, a first time Debian can be painful sometimes. But once it works, it works amazingly well. What about s.u.s.e? How come I don't hear much about that one? I've converted all my servers / workstations to s.u.s.e and am extremely happy. This distro is close to good old unix layouts, user friendly, package management is pretty good, and its rock solid.
