correct..agreed. somebody, please put up a list of pros and cons. I am not so much techie as to do that...no admin skills. and yes, i wud agree with siddhartha-da that we need a new site, and fast. i wud suggest that we follow the pattern used by the Delhi LUG a few months back. they had thei old static site along with a beta PHP Nuke based thing, and when one pointed to the delhi lug url, one was sent to the static site which linked to the PHP nuke one. and the last time i went, they had got rid of the static site all together. so i propose: Let us keep the static site where it is there. I can update it. Meanwhile, Amitabhada can upload the new site to where ever it is faster for him to upload, and let us have a sneak proview -cheers- Sayamindu
