During my two days workshop in Calcutta, I realised that there is good amount of curiosity about Linux. And specially the kind of audience I was working with, artists, film makers etc., and others were quite keen to know and use Linux. But they don't know where they should go fot the installation of Linux and for further support.
We see similar problem in Delhi. What I suggest is, if workshops could organised with vendors, later they can reach up to larger population for the installation and maintenance of Linux boxes. The kind of support I got from ilug-Cal in general and Mr. Raja Guha in specific with in one and half day, was unbelievable. Thus, seeing such support I think ilug-cal can possibly organise workshops once in twice or thrice a month which could be of great help. I think till local computer courses pick up Linux programmes workshops can be a useful process. I would like to get opinions and comments on that.
