[ilug-cal] whats this group is all about!!!!!

LUG = Linux user Group.......

I hope it is not only for discussing "projects" but also
for advocacy of the OS too.So,why is all people are so
ignorant when two new members(anindya and anirban) of the LUG is asking for some info and getting no reply...I hope it's not becoming a "FONT" related project website.!....

The first few lines of "www.linux-india.org" is---

"Linux India is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Linux in India. We intend to do this by educating people about Linux and helping people start using Linux by making it easily accessible and providing the initial assistance to get started with Linux. "

When PCQuest stopped distributing RH Linux....then we
bough 7.3 package from B'lore and if someone wanted
to use it we happily distributed it!!!....Its kinda
amazing to see that only "font" related emails are
answered!!!!Its nice to have LUG in our city...but
if all the "Geeks" take some time to help others
who are new it would be nicer....what do you think?
