    I didnt get down to working much with Apache2, though i did hear about
the running apache as separate users earlier wrt Apache2.

Though what i actually was asking about is running servers other than
apache, i should've clarified earlier  -- what i meant was that i wanted to
actually start a java program that is a server to a web based chat client.
Happens often that people dont like you starting up server's for code they
don't know of as root -- which is totally fair, and no one's gonna
personally audit the code..

    anyhow any idea how i can start a program on server startup as non root
?
