Do we need to be scared by this? Though its a bit
'dichotomy' (in the marxist terminology) that West Bengal
Government is supporting this type of 'colonialistic'
initiative. What we lack is advocacy at the highest level.
Leave alone initiatives like 'banglapenguin' or
'banglalinux', the whole open source movement is India is
still limited to few people. The otherday Atanu cited a good
example. Myself and Atanu was able to introduce Linux in
Deepalaya - and the experiemnt is very successful. But it is
not spreading to other organisations. We are in great need
of a 'body' which would take up the responsibbility of
convincing people at the highest level.

Anybody for a PIL (public interest litigation) against West
Bengal Government? Tell....me..I am all for it.
