Hi Sharmaji

Congrats !!! Frankly, it doesnt surprise me. I was quite sure about it,
specially given the fact you are doing the 'talking' with them :), and
moreover, when I checkout last, Compass guys still doesnt have anything to
"show" in the "show".

Now ilug-cal has got the best of oppurtunity, and it must capitalise it. I
am still in doubt, if we are going to put-up-a-stall out there (the dates of
Compass coincides with much holidays, marriage season...so not much biz
visitors), but the crowd we all should be looking for from the Linux
perspective, its going the be there for sure. Have read a few postings from
members, who can invite Plus-2 students etc., once Sharma-ji get the list of
speakers and we are very sure about it, we should "all" try to bring-in as
many visitors, as we could.

Also, given the 'support' WB govt is giving now (for a change, yes) to
Linux, am sure the "media" guys will be there too (I have checked up with
few guys, and all are keen to follow the event well), so we must "nominate"
a few "good" speakers who can "handle" the media guys well. It surely seems
like we all are taking it lightly still, but wake up you all members, its
going to be the best platform to make Linux popular then ever, atleast in
our City. Sharmaji is surely one of my nominations. Indra, where are you ?
Given your experience in handling such events in past, will surely come
handy to ilug. I hope you are around. Do respond man.

Once again, Congrats Sharmaji for the effort, we still have a long way to
go.

Rajesh
