As an example, RedHat 8.0 came on 5 CD's, not just 3. Some people decided to only burn the 3 'binary' disks, but that is their choice. RedHat is living up to their obligation with the GPL by offering the sources in the same formats/manner as they are offering the binaries. Now if I give the 3 disks to someone, I am taking on the obligation to offer the other 2 if they ask for them. Easiest if you are worried about it is to burn all 5 if you plan on giving them to someone you aren't a close friend with. --- Russell McOrmond, Internet Consultant: <http://www.flora.ca/> Any 'hardware assist' for communications, whether it be eye-glasses, VCR's, or personal computers, must be under the control of the citizen and not a third party. -- http://www.flora.ca/russell/ -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line.
