congratulations on an initiative well taken, sumeet. looks like i made no mistake identifying our man! there are a few points, however: this 'installing' part was never any part of my talk. it is going to take the focus away from what the talk was originally about - lilo and grub, the linux boot process and filesystem. that is what i have prepared my slides and talk about. what is more, installing + dual booting will take a lot of time, perhaps more than i'd like to hog the spotlight. also, we'd need more than one machine for this kind of thing. how many is heritage giving us? the lilo-grub demo machine will have to be pre-installed with linux, with both lilo and grub installed (duh). i remember there was some issue with connecting the lcd projector at compass - something to do with a vga splitter or some such creature i forget. someone should confirm those items are in place at this venue. - t. -- cogito, ergo es. -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line.
