2 systems. One with Linux preinstalled and one as the system to be
installed. 

I have a solution to this. Since the focus of the meet is Newbies (more
so bcos there will be lot of newbies), we could start off showing a
minimal install. When the packages are being installed, we shift the
connector to the preinstalled system and u can start ur talk about the
bootloaders. Once ur done, the guy doing the install can take over and
finish off the post install config. That will help us manage everything
withing the 1 hour duration.
